Risk disclosures

Read this page before requesting investor access, placing capital with G3 Trade, or acting on anything published on this site. It applies to every page of this site, to the G3 Trade investor portal, and to the TradeSync web application and Windows operator shell.

Who you contract with

G3 Trade is the trading desk and operator. Investors who place capital do so under agreements with G3 Trade and with the brokers or firms that hold their accounts. TradeSync is the underlying software G3 Trade uses to route signals, size allocation books, and issue reporting logins. TradeSync does not accept customer deposits, does not hold or manage funds, does not select trades, and is not the counterparty to your allocation.

This site describes how G3 Trade works and how reporting looks. It is not an offer or solicitation of a commodity interest, of a managed account, or of investment management services in any jurisdiction. Counsel for G3 Trade should review offering documents before any capital is solicited. This page is not that review and is not legal advice.

Substantial risk of loss in futures trading

Trading futures, options on futures, and other derivatives involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You can lose all of the funds you commit and, because futures are traded on margin, you can lose more than your initial investment. Only risk capital (money you can afford to lose without a change to your lifestyle) should be used for trading.

Margin amplifies losses as well as gains. A relatively small market movement will have a proportionately larger impact on the funds you have deposited, which can result in rapid losses and in calls for additional margin. You should carefully consider whether trading is appropriate for you in light of your experience, objectives, financial resources, and other circumstances.

Past performance

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Nothing on this site reports, implies, or promises any level of trading performance, profit, or return. G3 Trade publishes no track record on this site. TradeSync publishes none. Any performance information you receive about a trading desk comes from that desk or its intermediaries in a separate communication, and you should verify it independently before placing capital.

Hypothetical and simulated performance (CFTC Rule 4.41)

Screenshots, product previews, sample dashboards, demo environments, and illustrative figures on this site and in the TradeSync application use simulated data. They exist to show how reporting and the desk surface work, not to depict trading results. Where simulated or hypothetical performance is shown, United States CFTC Rule 4.41 requires the following statement:

These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.

No investment, legal, or tax advice

Nothing on this site is investment advice, a trading recommendation, a solicitation to trade, or legal, accounting, or tax advice. Content describing allocation methods such as MAM, PAM, LAM, or copy trading explains allocation mechanics only. Consult your own advisors before making any investment decision.

What G3 Trade and TradeSync do and do not do

G3 Trade is a trading desk. It may operate allocation programs (including PAM, MAM, and LAM), run execution on connected venues, and issue investor reporting logins. Whether any particular activity requires registration is a question for counsel and regulators. This page does not determine anyone's status.

TradeSync is software for a trading desk. A desk operator uses it to route signals among accounts that operator already controls, and to issue reporting logins for that operator's investors and clients. This software does not accept customer deposits, does not hold or manage funds, does not select trades, does not exercise discretion over any account, and is not an offer of any commodity interest or of investment management services.

Your agreements, and any performance representations, are between you and G3 Trade and its brokers, not with a software vendor. Do your own due diligence before placing capital, including verifying any registrations that may apply.

Operators should obtain their own legal advice regarding CFTC, NFA, and other registration or disclosure obligations that may apply to their business. This page is not legal advice and does not determine anyone's registration status.

United States regulatory notice

Futures trading in the United States is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and intermediaries are generally required to be members of the National Futures Association (NFA). Nothing on this site is an offer to buy or sell securities, futures contracts, or any other commodity interest, and nothing on this site is an offer of investment management services. You can check the registration status of a firm or individual through NFA BASIC at nfa.futures.org.

International availability and jurisdiction

This site, G3 Trade marketing, and the TradeSync software are not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where the publication or availability of this content would be contrary to local law or regulation, and do not constitute an offer or solicitation in any such jurisdiction. If you access this site from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with the laws of your own jurisdiction, including any restrictions on derivatives trading, copy trading, and cross border financial promotions. The software may not be available in all jurisdictions.

Electronic trading and platform risks

Electronic and copy trading carry additional risks: connectivity loss, latency, partial or rejected fills, venue outages, and software defects can all cause copied positions to diverge from a master account. The kill switch is an operator control, not a guarantee against loss, slippage, or a rejected flatten at the venue. Reporting shown in the portal reflects data received from connected venues and may be delayed or incomplete.
